A contemporary architectural response to the established character of Marrickville.

Our first project with Astute.

Located in the heart of Marrickville, Kindred occupies a long narrow site with frontage to Marrickville Road and Touhy Lane.

Ground floor tenancies are provided to both frontages, whilst the apartments are located above within 2 built forms, seperated by an internal communal courtyard. Residents are able to access both frontages, providing much needed activation to Touhy lane and convinient access to amenities and transport.

Detailing and material use were adopted to ensure a dialogue with the adjoining church and a contextual nod to the established character of Marrickville.
